Like everybody else,
or like nobody else.
I want serenity, I want love, I want happiness, I want prosperity.
I do not want anger, I do not want hatred, I do not want jealousy.
I want my days and nights to end with your glances.
I want my mornings to wake up with you and my nights to sleep with you
with you always by my side.
I do not want you to hide what all you feel for me,
I do not want you to escape everytime somebody takes my name with you.
I want you to be standing there when I am alone,
I want you to be standing there when I am in a crowd.
I want you in my good and bad times.
I want you all the time,
close to me like nobody but you.
But you will never understand.
And even if you will, I do not think I will be alive till then.
Blessed

Against the odds of the world,
with everybody at the loggerheads,
I fought to be with you, Sunshine,
and you disappear from my sight all the time.
You call me names,
you talk to me like no one has ever talked to me before.
But, still I cannot resist what I have for you deep inside of me.
And I stand alone, with you in my thoughts and actions,
all alone on my grave with ghosts of despair and disappointment.
You are nowhere to be seen.
But trust me, I know where you are.
You are full of joy and celebrating your life with people you love.
Had it been me, I would have been with you right now. Isn't it?
with everybody at the loggerheads,
I fought to be with you, Sunshine,
and you disappear from my sight all the time.
You call me names,
you talk to me like no one has ever talked to me before.
But, still I cannot resist what I have for you deep inside of me.

But trust me, I know where you are.
You are full of joy and celebrating your life with people you love.
Had it been me, I would have been with you right now. Isn't it?
One thing you'd like to change about yourself?
the imbalances in my behaviour, lol though i love them too so i might just not change anything

End of CWG saga
Diary 14 Oct.,2010 11 p.m.
And so the CWG 2010 saga ends after much fuss, fiasco and mayhem. Eleven days ago, the games had opened amid critical speculation and cynical media reports, with the Indian Government seemingly trying to prove otherwise with the unaudible slogan "YES WE CAN"
The howling applause across the huge Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium at the opening ceremony of the 19th Commonwealth games strongly depicted that it has managed to capture the imagination of the countrymen and the people witnessing this large supporting extravaganza .
Since the begining of the preparation for the games, it saw several ups and mostly downs. The lacks and loopholes underlined the areas of mismanagement on the part of the concerned authorities. Delhiites, meanwhile, relished the honour they were awarded after being incarnated hurridly within the last few weeks for the games to go. The NCT of Delhi was renewed, renovated and whilewashed in the cultural vibgyor. The acts were put together and picked up speed as the deadline came closer after being delayed several times. The cracks on the walls of the entire city were patched up in haste and so now we know they can reappear any moment. The closing ceremony of the games was equally delighful and illuminious to watch but the real story lies within .
It was rather hilarious noticing how the view of the city changed overnight. The idea of relocation of Jhuggis was dropped and instead they were veiled behind man-size CWG banners. The roads were repainted with great speed and zero efficiency. In a futile attempt to keep the city clean, a limited number of dust-bins were installed only to be kept several miles away as they gave each other a look of indifference.
Fortunately, the capital city has survived the CWG ordeal and managed to represent India on a mixed canvas and has received mixed reactions from the International media too. The games are now over and so is the cake walk. The Government of Delhi and the Centre have now a big liability to cleanse off the blots and erase the stigma off their collars. There is a lot of work to be done and to be corrected, the cracks to be plastered, the scams to be investigated and most importantly continue to maintain the "a-bit-better" image of the Asian subcontinent in the global arena.
